Johnny Benjamin Martin

Mr. Johnny Benjamin Martin, 69, of Gainesville passed away on February 1, 2017.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 08, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Gainesville.

Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Banquet Hall immediately following the service. 
Born on June 9, 1947, he was the son of the late J.D. and Helen Martin.  Mr. Martin was self-employed as a CPA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Martin and first wife, Susie Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Judy Martin of Gainesville; sister, Linda Martin of Gainesville; daughter and son in law,

Tammy and Phillip Parsons of Murrayville; granddaughters, Sydney and Jordyn Parsons of Murrayville; step children, Lt. Col. Jess and Hye-Jin Capel of Rio Rancho, New Mexico,

William Preston Capel of Chattanooga, TN; step grandchildren, Loren Capel, Jessika Rose Capel, Evan Capel and other relatives and friends.
