Derric Shaun Adams, age 32 of Clarkesville came into this world on August 15, 1984 and went to be with his Lord on January 29, 2017.
Derric was a loving son, brother, uncle and nephew. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. Derric loved life and was a very loving and compassionate person. He loved going to church and his church family. Derric was involved with the Special Olympics, a worthy organization that he held close to his heart. Derric loved the Lord. He preached his first sermon last year. He was a member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Clarkesville. Derric was a man of many talents and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents E. C. and Johnnie Lee Green Brown and Lee Adams and Mary Burnett.
Survivors include his parents Willie and Barbara Brown Adams of Clarkesville, brothers A. J. Adams of Clarkesville and Erric Adams of Cornelia, and sister Raven Adams of Clarkesville.
Visitation will be held at Hillside Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM at The Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Benjamin L. Hawks officiating.
