Gary S. Lewis

Gary S. Lewis, age 73, of Alpharetta passed away Monday, January 30, 2017.  Gary was a lifelong resident of the Holbrook Campground community, living his entire life within two miles of where he was born.  He had an uncanny ability to make friends wherever he went. Gary was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Cowart Lewis; his parents, Olen S. and Velma Monroe Lewis; and a brother, Danny Lewis.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Larry Lark of Marble Hill; son and daughter-in-law, David and Jennifer Lewis of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Ashleigh Lark, Austin Lark, Emily Lewis, Allyson Lewis and Olivia Lewis; great grandson, Jaxon Lark.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 1, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating.  Interment will follow at Holbrook Campground Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
