Marjorie Emma Cain

Marjorie Emma Cain age 94 of Commerce passed away Friday Jan. 27, 2017 at her residence.
 
Mrs. Cain was born in South Carolina on March 1, 1922 to the late William Chancey and Edna Lyles Sibley. She worked as a medical assistant, and she also worked as an office manager. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis P. Cain, Sr. and a son, Lewis P. Cain, Jr.
 
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Sims of Commerce, 9 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive.
 
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday Jan. 30, 2017 in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Isaac McDuffie officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Sunday Jan. 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
