Sara Nannette “Nan” Knowles

Sara Nannette “Nan” Knowles, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday January 25, 2017.

Born March 19, 1953 in Rockdale County to the late Robert Lewis and Aileen Young, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 31 years.  Nan was also preceded in death by a son, Kimothy L. “Kim” Young, and brother, Ronald Lewis Young.

Surviving are her son, Shawn A. Young, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; sisters, Kathy Whisnant, Conyers, Jenny Schleifer, Killen, AL; brother and sister in law, Anthony and Obie Young, Conyers; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Saturday February 4, 2017 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 4 from 12 noon until 1.
