Walter Hugh Nix

Funeral services are scheduled for Walter Hugh Nix, age, 69 of Clermont, Ga. services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 28, in Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. Mr. Nix died January 26, 2017 after a sudden illness.  Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.   Mr. Nix is survived by his wife, Alma Janice Nix of Clermont, his sons, Rob Gibson of Gainesville, Ed Gibson and wife, Chrissie of Canton, a daughter, Sondra Perkins and her husband Pete, of Gainesville. Brothers James Nix, of Clermont and Harold Nix of Gainesville. His sisters Emogene Oliver, Gaynelle Beach, Linda Watkins and Brenda Miller. Grandsons, Avery Gibson and Ryan Perkins, Granddaughters, Kaitlin Perkins and Charlye Gibson.
