Pat Truitt

Pat Truitt, age 80 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. She was a devoted member of County Line Baptist Church and very active in the homeless and Happy Timer's ministries.  Her love for family, friends and God were evidenced daily by her unselfish and caring and generous acts of kindness. Her love for gardening, when she was not busy in ministry, found her in her garden spending time with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Billy) Truitt.

Survivors include her children Rev. Wayne and Shirley Truitt of Dawsonville, Rev. Scott and Lynn Truitt of Dawsonville; Wanda Truitt of Cumming; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Clara Byrd of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Heidi Byrd of Epworth,; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann and Wimp Crowe of Columbus, Bobby Coggins of Newnan;  and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26^th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Truitt, Rev. Wayne Truitt and Wanda Truitt officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:30 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until hour of service.
