Hardy Lee Waldrop, age 75, of Canton passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. Hardy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He grew up on a farm in Forsyth County; the youngest of five children to the late Charlie Oliver and Estelle Majors Waldrop. Hardy was a retired sewing machine mechanic who loved hunting. He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Waldrop of Canton; daughters, Michelle Waldrop of Cumming, Lisa Hornback and Tammy Toney, both of Canton; grandchildren, Lindsey King, Lauren King, Hayden Galloway; great grandchildren, Willow Mooney and Jaxon Richert.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Padgett officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
