Chris Gregory Childs, age 60 of Danielsville, GA passed away Tuesday January 17, 2017.
Mr. Childs was the son of the late Jesse Hope and Ruth Roach Childs. He was an auto body mechanic, served our country in the US Marines, of the Christian faith and is preceded in death by a step-son, Casey Streetman.
Survivors include wife, Tracie Streetman, Danielsville; son, Clint Childs, Hull, step-son, Jonathon Streetman, Athens; daughters, Laraine Bonds, Athens, Zoey Childs, Danielsville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday January 20, 2016 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel at with the Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-3 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
