Martha Geraldine (Jeri) Bruner

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Martha Geraldine “Jeri” Westmoreland Bruner, age 78 of Sautee Nacoochee. Mrs. Bruner passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Mrs. Bruner was born in White County on December 30, 1938 to the late George Washington “ Chief” Westmoreland and Ethel Trotter Westmoreland. She spent most of her adult life in the Atlanta area before moving back to Sautee Nacoochee in 2012. She was a homemaker (a great baseball Mom!) and a member of Welcome Worship Center. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Bruner of Sautee, son, Tim Bruner of Lilburn and Tommy Bruner ( Jenny) of Suwanee; brother Aubrey Westmoreland ( Mary) of Sautee as well as grandchildren, Alex Bruner, Josh Bruner, Ashley Bruner and Caroline Bruner.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Peck officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Family Cemetery.
