Mrs. Amy Marie Couget, 95, of Gainesville passed away on January 6, 2017

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Couget was born on December 29, 1929, in New Orleans. She was the daughter of the late Edward Falgout and Eunice Roussell Falgout. Mrs. Couget was a retired Post Master for the USPS. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to travel, read and cross-stitch.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jean Couget; brothers, Emile Falgout and Raymond Falgout.

Mrs. Couget is survived by her son, Charles D. Couget of Gainesville; grandson, Charles D. Couget, Jr. of Gainesville; great-grandsons, Charles D. Couget, III, Nathan Couget, Wakefield Couget; great-granddaughter, Eileen Couget; daughter in law, Yvonne Couget of Gainesville as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
