Lela Bell Crenshaw

Obituary Date: Saturday, January 14, 2017

Mrs. Lela Bell Crenshaw, 92, of Oakwood, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 following an extended illness.

 

A Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

 

Mrs. Crenshaw was born on January 6, 1924 in Lumpkin County, GA., she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mamie Stover Kendall. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a homemaker and a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.

 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crenshaw is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Crenshaw.

 

Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by her sons and daughters in law, David Timothy and Mary Crenshaw of Snellville, Mark Anthony and Lynn Crenshaw of Flowery Branch; grandson, Kevin Crenshaw of Atlanta; grandson and wife, Matt and Lyndsey Crenshaw of Gainesville; granddaughter, Natalie Crenshaw of Flowery Branch; great granddaughter, Anna Crenshaw; sister and brother in law, Hazel and Harold Collins of Clermont.

 

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
