James Edwin Madison

Mr. James Edwin Madison, age 87, of 51 Smith Road, Toccoa passed away Thursday January 12, 2017 at his residence.

A son of the late William and Edna Jacquay Madison, he was born on November 23, 1929 in New York, New York having lived most of his life in New York and Florida having recently moved to Toccoa in 2013. A United States Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean War in the 24th Infantry Division. He was retired from AT&T Telephone Company. A member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, V.F.W Post #4346 and the Lavonia Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Madison.

Survivors include a son William Madison of Eastanollee, a sister Anna Madison of New York, grandchildren and spouses Nicole and Robert Scott, Stephanie and Joseph Burdette and William and Courtney Madison all of Toccoa, two great-grandchildren Matthew Shirley and Joshua Madison and a brother Zeke Madison Dolgeville, New York.

Funeral Services will be held at Oakridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
