Miguel Avila

Mr. Miguel Avila, age 58 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Gwinnett Medical Center following an unfortunate car accident.

Mass is scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Gerardo will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4 – 8:30 pm and Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 12 – 3 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Avila was born September 29, 1958 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Efren Avila and Ma Carmen Arteaga.  He was a car salesman at Atlanta Best Used Cars.  Miguel was preceded in death by his father, Efren Avila.

Mr. Avila is survived by his wife, Emilia Manzano de Avila of Gainesville, his children, Griseli Avila & Marco A. Monreal of Gainesville and Emily Avila of Gainesville, his mother, Ma. Carmen Arteaga de Avila of Gainesville, his brothers, J. Trinidad Avila, J. Felix Avila, Raymundo Avila, J. De Jesus Avila, Misael Avila and Efren Avila, Jr., all of Gainesville, his sisters, Ma. Griselda Avila and Elida Avila-Lopez, both of Gainesville and a numerous family.
