Mr. Frank Howard Turpin, age 80, of Regan Drive, Toccoa, Ga. passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital.
A son of the late Charles M. and Emma Elizabeth Turner Turpin, he was born July 1, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all of his life. He was employed in Paving Construction for many years and attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved his animals. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Turpin, a daughter, Annzie Mae Dean, and two sisters, Lucy Mae Nichols and Ruth Sertain.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Jimmy Thurmond of Carnesville, Ga., Francis and Donald Bush of Eastanollee, Ga., and Kathleen Woody of Martin, Ga., three sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Connie Turpin of Cleveland, Ga., Jimmy Dale and April Turpin of Toccoa, and Frank Dale Turpin of Toccoa, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a sister, Geneva Durham of Eastanollee, Ga., and a brother, Tharon Jack Turpin.
A Graveside Service will be held at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Turpin, Wesley Woody, Deric Tanner, Micheal Jackson, Jesse Thurmond, and Michael Bland.

The family will be the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bush, Hwy. 145, Eastanollee, Ga., and will receive friends at The Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM on Thursday evening.
