Billy Marcus Simmons

Billy Marcus Simmons age 57 of Pendergrass, Ga. died Tuesday January 10, 2017.

Mr. Simmons was born in Gainesville, Ga. December 17, 1959.  He was a US Marine; he had worked at Peachtree Windows and Doors for many years and most recently with Quik Trip Distribution Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyce Simmons.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., January 13, 2017 in the Little Davenport Chapel.  The Rev. David Gravitt will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Humane Society of NE Ga. 845 W. Ridge Rd. Gainesville, Ga. 30501.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife Carmen Irvin Simmons; 2 sons, Daniel Lee and Cody James Simmons, all of Pendergrass, Ga.; 2 sisters, Robin Chandler and Christie Melendrez; brother, Shane Simmons; mother, Alma Adam, all of Gainesville, GA.
