Maria Samples Kirby

Mrs. Maria Samples Kirby, age 62, of Jefferson passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hopewell Baptist Church.  Rev. Michael Green will officiate.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Church.

Mrs. Kirby was born May 22, 1954 in Atlanta to the late Clarence Archie & Evelyn Rita Samples.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Kirby is survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Melissa & J.C. Mathis, III of Jefferson, Lexie & Jay James of Charleston, South Carolina, and Jennifer & Jon Duncan of Gainesville; grandchildren, Riley, Scarlett and Reagan; sister & brother-in-law, Teresa & Thomas Flowers of Cumming.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Neal Kirby; and her parents.
