Hoyt Dock Harkins

Hoyt Dock Harkins, age 85, of Braselton passed away Monday, January 9, 2017.  Hoyt has lived in the area for 50 years.  He loved to fish and hunt.  Survivors include his wife of 64 years Maxine Dillard Harkins; son Hoyt Keith Harkins and wife Tammy of Braselton; daughters Belinda Helms and husband Terry of Jefferson, Leola Motes and husband Jimmy of Gainesville, Doris Stewart of Hoschton, JoAnne Sanitago and husband Michael of Jefferson; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Bertie Gooch Harkins; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
