Mauline Mote Pinson

Mrs. Mauline Mote Pinson, 83, of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 following an extended illness.

A Funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Donnie Whitmire and Rev. Scott Sorrells will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Mrs. Pinson was born on March 19, 1933 in Gainesville, GA. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy White Mote. Mrs. Pinson was retired from Chicopee where she worked as a spinner. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pinson is preceded in death by her husband, George Pinson.

Mrs. Pinson is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sandra and Jack Bailey of Covington; daughter and son in law, Becky and Donnie Whitmire of Dawsonville; sisters, Patsy Clark of Statham, Denelle Whitmire of Gainesville; brothers, Phillip Mote of Newnan, Charles Mote of Snellville; grandchildren, Matthew Hatfield (Susan), Erin Hatfield, Emily Dedmon, Kaleecya Hernandez; great grandchildren, Molly Hatfield, Brandon LaBerge, Isabella Dunne and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
