Mrs. Patricia Ann Rail, 80, of Gainesville died Sunday January 8, 2017 at her daughter's residence in Bethlehem, Ga.
Born March 25, 1936 in Tate, Ga., Mrs. Rail had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Faye Brown. Mrs. Rail was retired from The Citizens Bank/ now known as Bank of America, with over 44 years of service. After retiring from the bank she worked a number of years for the Hall County Superior Court Services under Judge Andy Fuller and she was also the owner/operator of Rail Kindergarten. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Tony Rail, Gainesville and Teresa Orr, Bethlehem; daughter-in-law, Karen Rail, Savannah; grandchildren, Tiffany Thomas (Dustin), Tabitha Orr, Tamara Orr (Tiffani), Kacey Headrick (Bryan), and Kristi Rail; great grandchildren, Dalton Thomas, Tinsley Thomas, Teigen Thomas, Tymber Orr, Lauren Headrick, and Faith Headrick; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Harold Martin, Bonnie Turk, Elaine and Jimmy Barnes, Sylvia Brown all of Gainesville.
Mrs. Rail is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Jerry Rail, son, Tim Rail, and her siblings, Willie Brown, Lucy Sammons, Ada House and Harry Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday January 12, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Clack Stubbs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3650 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, Ga. 30504.
