Alfred Sullens

 Alfred Sullens, age 68, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017.

A Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Timmy Sullens, Rev. Timothy Sullens and Rev.  Scott Ledbetter will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Mr. Sullens was born on January 14, 1948 in Lumpkin County to the late Robert Marion and Minnie Ray Sullens. He was retired from Fieldale Farms.  Mr. Sullens was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullens is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Sullens.

 Mr. Sullens is survived by his daughter, Debbie Sullens Hudgins of Carnesville; son and daughter in law, Chad and Stacie Sullens of Gainesville; grandson, Andrew Hudgins; granddaughter, Madison Sullens; sister and brother in law, Carolyn and Tommy Haynes of Carnesville; brother, James Robert Sullens of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Claude and Shirley Jean Sullens of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
