Tony “Yankee” Goulding, age 42 of Clarkesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 21, 1974, he was a son of Danny Goulding of Russellville, Arkansas and Liane Caplinger of Newark, Ohio. Mr. Goulding was a mechanic and handyman. He enjoyed bartering, motorcycles, and working on cars.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Jessica Hammontree Goulding of Clarkesville; sons, Bishop “BishUUUPPP” Goulding, Zach “Nickles” Goulding, Noah “Monkey” Goulding, and Cole “Coleslaw” Goulding all of Clarkesville; daughters, Ali “Aligator” Goulding of Clarkesville, Madilynn Glasglow of Bristol, TN; son-in-law, Josh Nagel; God daughter, Layla “Lil Bit” Barrett-Thomas of Cornelia; brothers, Maverick Garey of Newark, Ohio, Andy Ellis of Cleveland, T.J. Barrett of Cornelia, Adam “Rudy” Rudeseal of Clarkesville, Danny “D” Pilgrim of Cornelia, Joey Edenfield of Baldwin and John Lewis of Suwanee; sisters, Amber Burroughs of Stillwell, Oklahoma, Christina Flack of Fredricktown, Ohio, Nicole Tosi of Newark, Ohio, Faith-Michel Finck of Newark, Ohio, Kera Phibbs of Clarkesville and Stephanie Moore of Cornelia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Foster officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
