Wanda Collins Price

Mrs. Wanda Collins Price, age 66, of Gumlog Road, Lavonia, GA, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA.

A daughter of the late Brown and Frances Ansley Collins, she was born September 19, 1950 in Stephens County, having lived all her life in Stephens and Franklin Counties.  She retired from Coats & Clark with 25 years of service and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church; she was preceded in death by her husband Stewart Price.

Survivors include 2 daughters and their husbands, Amy (Roy) Broome of Eastanollee, GA, Heather (Charles) Pruitt of Eastanollee, grandchildren, Dustin Broome, Mackenzie Pruitt & Lakota Pruitt.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Bruce McGee and the Reverend Stacy Penland officiating.

The family will be at the home on Gumlog Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM.  Online condolences may be made by visiting our website.  www.acree-davisfh.com

Interment will be in Roselane Cemetery, Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Wanda Collins Price.
