Marie Gertrude “Cook” Froeliger

            Mrs. Marie Gertrude “Cook” Froeliger, age 76 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, following an extended illness.

            Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm in a Parlor of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 11:00 – 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Froeliger was born April 29, 1940 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Benjamin Cook and Mary Ertzberger Cook.  She was retired form Nestle Company and was of the Baptist Faith.  Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Muriel Kellogg and Judy Ivey and her brother, Jimmy Cook.

            Mrs. Froeliger is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Frank Froeliger of Flowery Branch, her sisters, Janie Whitlow of Gainesville, Rosealee Boster of Oakwood, Barbara Caston of Gainesville and Mary Williams of Gainesville, her brother, Benny Cook of Gainesville, her children, Gary & Hope Teague of Norcross and Roy Teague of Flowery Branch, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
