Roy Dwayne Pless

Mr. Roy Dwayne Pless, age 38 of 202 Eastanollee School Road, Eastanollee passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his home.

A son of Sonny Pless and the late Delores Littleton Pless, he was born August 12, 1978 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was U.S. Army Veteran, employed with Auto-Zone Distribution Center in Lavonia and a member and Associate Pastor of Beulah Land Outreach Church. 

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Sonny Pless and wife Carol of Carnesville; daughter, Courtney Pless of the home; son, Logan Pless of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Wanda Pless of Toccoa; two sisters and brother-in-law, Karen and Kevin Gaines of Toccoa and Peggy Pless of Clarkesville; step-brother, Shane Watts of Clayton; five nieces, four nephews and other great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 5, 2017, 11 O’clock AM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Danny Cheek officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kevin Gaines, David Head, Scotty Pless, Bradley Stancil, Floyd Pless, Jr. and Steve Gaines.

The family will be at the home of Anthony and Wanda Pless, 355 Mountain View Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM until 8 PM.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in Gaines Chapel Cemetery, Hartwell, Georgia with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Roy Dwayne Pless.
