Howard W. Ward

Howard W. Ward age 86 of Lula, Ga. died Friday December 30, 2016 in Clayton, Ga. following an extended illness.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 pm Monday January 2, 2017 at the Little Davenport Chapel, Rev. Philip McQueen will officiate and interment will be in the Belton Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 11 am until the funeral time.

Mr. Ward was born in Lula, Ga. Served in the Army during the Korean War and retired from General Motors after 40 years of service.

Mr. Ward was preceded in death by Parents -  Lucinda and Frank Ward, son – Jackie Lunsford,  Sister -  Thelma Bradberry, Sister and Brother-in law -  Lois and Lawrence Jones , Sister and Brother-in law -  Bonnie and Jack Green, Brother and Sister in law -  Frank and Bertha Ward.

Survivors include His wife – Martha Ward, daughter and son in law – Susan and Hank Kadel of York S.C., daughter – Patricia Wells of Lawrenceville, son – John Lunsford of Lula, Ga., sister and brother in law - Betty and Curtis Lawhorn of Acworth.  Grandchildren, a great grandchild as well many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
