Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Yvondia Virginia Moseley, age 65 of Cleveland. Mrs. Moseley passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Pilcher and Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. Interment will follow in Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Moseley was born in Olde Town, Florida on September 28, 1951 to the late Chester Turner and Mattie Jane Dees Turner. She had lived in Florida for most of her life and moved to White County in 1979. Mrs. Moseley worked for a number of years for Adams Florist in Gainesville and attended Christian Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moseley is preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Turner and sisters, Betty Montgomery and Shirley Huggins.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James Moseley of Cleveland, daughters, Sonja Posten (Scott), Gainesville and Sara Silva (Kevin) also of Gainesville; brother, Wallace Turner, sisters, Marie Futch, Kay Rhiner , Romia Plank, Linda Haney and Rosa Nell Morales. Mrs. Moseley is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
