Mr. John W. Steadman, age 89, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Bell Minor Nursing Home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Rick McQueen and Rev. Charles Abernathy will officiate. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mr. Steadman was born December 2, 1927 to the late Wallice Ithmal & Melinda May Steadman in Grove City, Kansas. He was retired from Boeing, where he was an Engineer and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Steadman was also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Rosel Steadman; 2nd wife, Vivian Steadman; and brother, Lester Steadman.
Mr. Steadman is survived by sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Lillian & Nathaniel McQueen of Flowery Branch; niece, Dianne Grizzle of Dahlonega; nephews & wives, Rick & Brenda McQueen and Mike & Joy McQueen all of Flowery Branch; niece & husband, Lynn & Tim McNeal of Cumming; and several great nieces & nephews as well as several great great nieces & nephews.
