Polly Palmer

Polly Palmer, age 93 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. 

Mrs. Palmer was born July 14, 1923, in Chamblee, Ga., to the late Myrtle and Pleasant Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy L. Palmer, her son Terry Palmer, brother Benson Adams and sister Syble Samples. 

She was a very active member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was always involved in all aspects of the church. She really loved Mt. Yonah! 

Survivors include her son, Larry Palmer of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Palmer Bailey and Kenneth Bailey of Watkinsville; grandchildren and spouses Jason and Annette Bailey; Eric and Leigh Bailey; Patrick and Heather Bailey; Kendra Bailey Lyon and Steven Lyon; great grandchildren Kayla Bailey, Cord Dean, Emma Bailey, Rachel Bailey, Evie Bailey, Anna Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Parker Lyon; great-great grandchildren Charity Dean, Camron Dean, Cherish Dean; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Friday, December 30, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Merck and the Rev. Andee Courson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral service.
