Bennie Garfield Lewallen

Bennie Garfield Lewallen, age 78 of Lula, GA passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Mr. Lewallen was the son of the late Ellis and Alpha Stewart Lewallen and was the widow of Peggy Jordan Lewallen. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lewallen, brothers, Bo, Bob, and James Lewallen, sisters, Elizabeth Lewallen, Dallas Smith, Louise Wilson and Thursie Hewell.

Survivors include a son, Benjamin Lewallen, Lula; 3 daughters, Janie Major, Gainesville, Jackie Maddox, Lula, Teri Truelove, Gainesville; 3 sisters, Alice Gilbert and Scviller Wright, both of Gainesville, Willie Rose Crowe, Fla.; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at a later date.
