Jason Todd Rimeik

Mr. Jason Todd Rimeik, 43, of Gainesville, passed away December 18, 2016 following a sudden illness.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Zach Hoffman will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Born in Hiawassee, GA., on May 23, 1973, he was the son Judy Rimiek Brookshire. Mr. Rimiek was employed with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office for a number of years. He was a member of the Stone Lodge #715, where he was currently the Senior Warden, Sons of the American Legion Post 7 and the AVVA Chapter, 772 of Gainesville, and of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Mr. Rimeik is survived by his mother, Judy Brookshire of Gainesville; aunt, Roberta Shirley of Flowery Branch; cousins, William and Lissa Shirley, Jacob and John William Shirley of Flowery Branch and a number of other family members.
