Linda Hicks Jenkins

Mrs. Linda Hicks Jenkins, age 69, of Flowery Branch passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Private Services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Jenkins was born May 13, 1947 to the late Haskell & Loretta Hicks of the Alarka Community, North Carolina.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Bobby Jenkins, Jr.  & Cheryl Jenkins; daughters & sons-in-law, Tina & Ken Nix and Marsha & Jason McKelvey all of Flowery Branch; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Leann Hall (Tyler), Joshua Day Jenkins, Nicholas Shelton Addison, Bryan Andrew Jenkins, and Braxton E. Nix; brother & sister-in-law, Hubert & Linda Hicks of Bryson City, North Carolina; sisters & brothers-in-law, Helen& Lesley Laws of Salisbury, North Carolina and Mary & Grady Burrell of Bryson City, North Carolina; and several nieces & nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert Day Jenkins, Sr.; and brothers, Mack Allen Hicks and Plato Hicks.
