Brenda Ramey Waters

Memorial services for Brenda Ramsey Waters, age 69 of Clarkesville will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Clarkesville United Methodist Church.  Rev. Brian Butler,  Rev. Brian James and Dr. Phil DeMore will officiate. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Waters passed away Friday, December 16, 2016.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on April 21, 1947, Mrs. Waters was the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Ella Taylor Ramsey.  She was retired and a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church.  She was also previously active as a Girl Scout leader and was a charter member of the Community Thrift Store, as well as enjoyed gardening, hiking and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waters is preceded in death by brother David Ramsey.
Survivors include husband Ron Waters, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Maria Waters, daughter and son-in-law Connie and Kenneth Crawford, brother Larry Ramsey, nieces Lisa Elliott, Robin Newell, Jennifer Smith and Heather Welborn, nephews Kevin Ramsey and Shaun Ramsey, and grandchildren Hennebry, Ramsey, Andrew, Katherine and Robert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Clarkesville United Methodist Church Future Facilities Fund at P.O. Box 365, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523.
