Charlie Douglas Hawkins

Mr. Charlie Douglas Hawkins, 66, of Gainesville passed away on December 13, 2016.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Swayne Carlan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hawkins was born on May 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Charlie Hawkins and Mary Delong Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins was self-employed as a contractor. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Hawkins is survived by his son and daughter in law, Doug Hawkins (Crystal) of Gillsville; daughter and son in law, Penny Simpson (Jeffery) of Maysville; brother and sister in law, William Hawkins (Jimmie) of Gainesville; brother, David Hawkins of Cleveland and 4 grandchildren.
