Michael Lynn Bruce

Michael Lynn Bruce, 29, of Dawsonville passed away Monday December 12, 2016.

Born February 19, 1987, Michael was a 2005 graduate of North Forsyth High School and was employed as the kitchen manager at Wild Wings Café in Gainesville.  He enjoyed music, skateboarding, cooking and had aspirations of becoming a chef.

Surviving are his wife, Corbin Alexis Bruce; parents, Phillip and Rita Bruce, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Amber and Abraham Nissen, Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Cory and Amanda Hart, Dawsonville; Grandparents, Hoyt and Mary Bruce, Dawsonville, Jimmy and Peggy Hudgins, Gainesville; mother in law, Billie Williams, and her husband, Michael, Lawrenceville; father in law, Calvin Gist, Charlotte, NC; sister in law, Mackenzie Williams, Lawrenceville; grandmother in law, Barbara “Granny” Johnson, Pageland, SC; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Thursday December 15, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Set Free Church of Dawsonville.  Pastor Marty Dunkerly and Associate Pastor Sandy Reece will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church Thursday beginning at 6 p.m.
