Helen Henderson Forrester

 Mrs. Helen Henderson Forrester, age 70 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center of Braselton following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Ricky Thrasher will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Forrester was born February 21, 1946 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Harold Cobb Henderson and Lottie Belle West Henderson.  She was retired from South Hall Middle School as a teacher and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Martha Nelson and her brother, Donald Henderson.

            Mrs. Forrester is survived by her husband, Michael Forrester of Gainesville, daughter & fiancé, Amber King and Benny Rich, of Easley, South Carolina, grandchildren, Andrew King, Alex King and Anna Belle King, all of Easley, South Carolina, son & daughter-in-law, Adam & Jill Forrester of Cumming, grandchildren, Caroline Forrester, Lauren Forrester and Emily Forrester, all of Cumming, brothers, Hayne Henderson of Pavo, Georgia and Heyward Henderson of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Randall & Sarah Henderson of Gainesville, sister & brother-in-law, Joann & Monroe Rogers of Snellville and brothers & sisters-in-law, Ray & Janice Henderson of Gainesville, Jim & Brenda Henderson of Ball Ground, Georgia and Phil & Debra Henderson of Snellville.
