Emmie Allison

        Mrs. Emmie Allison age 77, of Gainesville passed away December 7, 2016 at New Horizons at Lanier Park.

             Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Scott Waters and Reverend Daniel Goss will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

            Mrs. Allison was born on December 20, 1938, in Lumpkin County. She was the daughter of late Major Reeves and Viona Smith Forrester. She was retired from Leeseneville. Mrs. Allison was a member of Victory Baptist Church.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Allison, Jr.

            Mrs. Allison is survived by her daughter, Melissa Allison of Gainesville; granddaughters, Allison Swaim and Tiffany Wilburn; great grandchildren, David Odom, Mykaela Wilburn, Breyanna Wilburn, Zach, Cody, Ramey, Timmothy Swaim; brothers and sisters, Dorothy Martin (C.B.), Joyce Guyton (Jake), Junior Forrester (Athena), Tommy Forrester (Marvie), Ronnie Williamson (Linda), Becky Jones, Louise Brewer (Charlie), Lelia Thompson (Terry), Kay Reeves (Winford), Shirley Westbrook (Wade); sister in law, Ann Cantrell (Morris)  and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
