Tom Raden

Tom Raden age 91 of Gainesville, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 following an extended illness. He was born in Winter Garden, Florida on October 2, 1925 to the late G.T. and Annie Raden. Mr. Raden proudly served his country in the US Army in World War II and in the Korean War. Mr. Raden was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Iris Wyldene Grubbs Raden; daughters and son-in-laws Lisa and Steve Leikvoll of Gainesville and Amy and Todd Gooch of Gainesville; his grandchildren Ross Leikvoll of Louisville, KY, Erica Leikvoll of Gainesville, Lauren Gooch of Gainesville, and Caitlin Gooch of Gainesville. He is also survived by one niece Ann Lewis Tomlin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Memorial park North Riverside Chapel. The funeral service will be at the same location on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00am. Reverend Steve Baker will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, 5233 Will Wheeler Road Murrayville, Georgia 30564.
