Alton Lamar Stowe

Mr. Alton Lamar Stowe, age 57 of 28 Ranger Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence.

A son of the late Kenyon and Sarah Nell Verner Stowe, he was born October 10, 1959 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He worked a number of years with Coats American and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a sister, Elaine Stowe of the home; special cousins, Randall and Bonnie Cleveland and Michael and Craig Cleveland of Toccoa; special friend, Jessie Pulliam; a number of other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Albert Hudson and The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Randall Cleveland, Michael Cleveland, Craig Cleveland, Chris Scott, Ethan Partain and Elijah Burton.

The family will be at the home on Ranger Drive and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM until 8 PM. 

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Alton Lamar Stowe.
