She is also survived by two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Mrs. Jack Cole Brown of Tuscaloosa, AL, and James Reed and Penny Blakeney of Social Circle, GA; several loving nieces, nephews, and faithful friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Revis D. Blakeney, Sr.; her son: Revis D. Blakeney, Jr.; her parents: Clarence and Vassie Rona Brown; one brother: Dr. Jack Cole Brown; one sister: Lillian B. Brown.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6th, at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Kristina Shelton, 373 Viking Place, Greeneville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Joey Tillery will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Laughlin Healthcare Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
