Mr. John Charles Whitten, age 62, of Commerce, GA died Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Whitten was born in Paintsville, KY to the late Jay Whitten, Sr. and Helen Marie Daniels Whitten. He was a Real Estate Broker for Chapman Hall Realtors, and a veteran of the US Navy.
Mr. Whitten was survived by his sisters, Joyce Whitten of Hendersonville, NC, and Margie Koger of Roanoke, VA; brother, Jay Whitten of Roanoke, VA; and special friend, Suzanne Hill, Townville, SC.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 27 at 2 P.M. at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Keith Burchett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 2 P.M.
