Jerry Smallwood

Jerry Smallwood, 59, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday November 22, 2016.

Born August 21, 1957 to the late Bill and Ruby Smallwood, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 10 years having moved from Lumpkin County.  Mr. Smallwood was employed in the plastics industry for over 30 years.  Jerry took great pride that along with his family, they did the construction of their home. He was very devoted to his family and enjoyed travel, camping, the beach and panning for gold.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Patricia “Patti” Smallwood, Dawsonville; children, Jennifer and Matt Seelbinder, Cumming, Wesley and Jessica Smallwood, Cumming, Kevin Smallwood and Leanna Gilreath, Gainesville; grandchildren, Landon Smallwood, Bradley Seelbinder, Charles Seelbinder, Emma Smallwood; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 26, 2016 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Bob Baines will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
