E Taylor Murray

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. E Taylor Murray, age 78, of Alto, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016, at his residence.

Taylor was born February 2, 1938 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Edward and Norma Murray. He graduated valedictorian of Shady Valley High School and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He held numerous Bachelors Degrees from Georgia State University and served as head of the IT department there until his love of green growing things inspired him to trade his office for a greenhouse. Taylor Made Landscaping planted beauty all ‘round Atlanta, GA.

At age 50, Taylor returned to working indoors. Taylor lent his analytical brilliance to the Center for Disease Control and the American Cancer Society twisting billions of data into an understandable and useful shape as a Statistical Programmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelly Marie Paquette, of Novato, California, and sister, Dale Quinn, of Seal Beach, California.
