Bernice Goss

Mrs. Bernice Goss, 91, of Gainesville, passed away on November 17, 2016.

Bernice was born in McCaysville, GA. to the late William and Pearl Patterson Welch.  She lived most of her life in Gainesville and retired for Leece-Neville.  She was a member of Kingtown Baptist Church and loved playing Rook and spending time with her family. 

Bernice was preceded in death by husband Wayne Goss, grandchild Krystal Nicole Hart, one sister Billie and four brothers, Hoyale, Tommy, Dutch, and Nig.   

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Neva Jo and Joel Salzman of Arizona; daughter, Denise Goss and spouse Bonnie Glass of Oakwood, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Patti Goss of Gainesville, GA, Randy and Pam Goss of Clermont, GA; sisters, Thelma German and Jean Livingston, both of McCaysville, GA; nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Kingtown Baptist Church in McCaysville, GA, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service.  Rev. Delmar Davenport will officiate.  Interment will follow in Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
