Jerry Horace Morrison, Sr.,

Mr. Jerry Horace Morrison, Sr., age 66 of Gillsville, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Ricky Rider will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Morrison was born February 12, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Rufus Morrison and Mary Pauline London Morrison.  He was disabled and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Michael Morrison and his son, Shoan Morrison.

Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Holland Morrison, of Gillsville, his daughter & son-in-law, Lori & Johnny Kenimer of Gainesville, his sons, Jerry Morrison, Jr. and Chad Morrison, both of Gillsville, his daughter, Missy Morrison of Gainesville, grandchildren, Brittany Clements, Cody Kenimer, Devin Morrison, Dylan Morrison, Brannon Pettitt, Pailyn Pettitt, Chance Morrison and Logan Morrison, brothers & sisters, Harold Morrison, Betty Pressley, Trish Dean, Diane & Lamar Southers, Tommy & Mary Morrison and Larry Morrison.
