Traian Niculas

Traian Niculas, age 86, of Suwanee, GA, formerly of Romania, passed away suddenly on November 16, 2016. Evening service will be held on Friday, November 18th at 7:30 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19th at 1:30 PM at Hamilton Mill Chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.

Traian is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maria Niculas; Sons, Nicolae Mihail Niculas and wife Elvira, Buford, Traian Marcel Niculas and wife Felicia, Buford, Corneliu Daniel Niculas and wife Madalina, Suwanee, Teofil Ovidiu Niculas and wife Cornelia, Switzerland; Daughter, Christiana Maria Gibson and husband Christopher, Suwanee; Grandchildren, Claudia, Catalin, Alexandra Dora, Christian, Patricia, Julia, Abigail, Andrew, Emily, Matthew, Nathan, Stephanie, and Benjamin.

Traian was born in Cetea, Romania on January 14, 1930. He retired from a long career as an electrician in Romania before immigrating to the U.S.A. to be closer to his family in 1990. He was a member of First Romanian Baptist Church of Atlanta.
