James Douglas Wilson

Mr. James Douglas Wilson, age 66, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 due to an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home; interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Lee Koontz will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilson was born April 3, 1950 in Gainesville, GA to Robert Lee Wilson, Sr. and Mary Dean Wilson Gooch. Mr. Wilson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. James was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for life and was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Missy Nicole Wilson.     

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Donna Wilson; daughter, Rebecca Wielderhold of Wisconsin; daughter, Crystal Wilson of Boone, N. C.; daughter, Kelly Wilson of Marietta; sister and husband, Judy Sosebee (Larry) of Gainesville; brother and wife, Tommy Wilson (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous step-brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
