Judy Ward Cothran

Mrs. Judy Ward Cothran, age 62, of 3205 Hwy. 145, Eastanollee, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at The Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin, Georgia.
 
A daughter of the late Carl Ward and Cora Nix Ward, she was born March 30, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived for her entire life. Mrs. Cothran worked at Toccoa Clinic and Wal-Mart for several years.  She was a member at Eastanollee Baptist Church for several years where she taught Sunday school and played the piano, organ, and sang.  She later became a member at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Ronnie Cothran, sister, Nancy Cheek, and grandson, Andrew Cruz Ashley. 
 
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Collins of Eastanollee, son, Kevin Cothran of Eastanollee, eight grandchildren, Sierra Cothran, Gracelyn Cothran, Ethan Collins, Chloe Collins, Raelyn Harlow, Aaron Collins, Caitlin Collins, and Scott Bohannon, sister, Lita Yow of North Carolina, brother-in-law, Benny Cheek of Eastanollee, niece, Lisa (Hal) Alexander, nephew, Troy Yow, several great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece, Amelia Adams, and a great-great nephew, Brady Loggins.
 
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, 4:00 P.M., at the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Wayne Marcus and The Reverend Evan Alexander officiating.
 
Flowers are optional and donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, Maryland, 20852 ([email protected]" title="http://[email protected]" target="_blank">[email protected]) in memory of Mrs. Judy Ward Cothran.
