Willie Elizabeth Bramlett Simpson

Funeral services for Willie Elizabeth Bramlett Simpson, age 78, of Clarkesville will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow the service in Demorest City Cemetery.

Mrs. Simpson passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County on November 13, 1937, Mrs. Simpson was the daughter of the late Stoy and Willie Mae Heaton Bramlett. Mrs. Simpson was employed with Lumite, Chicopee and Williams Produce. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Simpson is preceded in death by husband Herman Simpson, and son Randall Lee Simpson.

Survivors include daughters Pamela Simpson Wood of Clarkesville and Rhonda Simpson Hogan of Tallulah Falls, son Jim Simpson (Lisa) of Clarkesville, brothers Tommy Bramlett (Barbara) of Toccoa, Harold Bramlett of Toccoa and Bo Bramlett (Gay) of Mt. Airy, sisters Faye B. Taylor (Doyle) of Cleveland, Judy B. Gunn (Ricky) of Lula, and Ann B. Duckett of Clarkesville, as well as nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
