Elizabeth C. Porras, age 86 of Dacula, GA died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 following an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Rev. Jason Mincey will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Porras was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Henry Porras. She is survived by her daughters, Aida Porras and husband, Tom Carney, Buford, JoAnne Thayer, Buford. Mrs. Porras was born in Los Angeles, CA and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 11 years. She was the office manager for her husband’s chiropractic office, a member of the Sorotomist Club in CA and a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.
